Patient recruitment for the REDUSE trial begins at Malar Hospital (Eskilstuna)

(March 20) This month, Malar Hospital in Eskilstuna became the most recent site to start patient recruitment for the REDUSE clinical trial.

Malar Hospital (Mälarsjukhuset) is part of Region Sörmland's healthcare network and its largest hospital, providing care primarily for the county's nearly 140,000 northern residents. Malar Hospital houses a comprehensive range of in-patient wards and outpatient clinics--some jointly with Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm.

The REDUSE team welcomes Malar Hospital as an active site as it continues to enlist patients to determine the effects of restrictive administration of non-resuscitation fluids in septic shock on mortality, respiratory failure, and quality of life.
