Patient recruitment for REDUSE begins in Tampere, Finland

(May 25) Tammerfors University Hospital (Tays) in Tampere, Finland, became the second international site to commence patient recruitment for the REDUSE study. This exciting development comes just several months after REDUSE began including patients at its first international study site.

Tays comprises four hospitals—Tays Central Hospital, Tays Hatanpää Hospital, Tays Sastamala Hospital, and Tays Valkeakoski Hospital—together serving the county of Pirkanmaa and its roughly 500,000 residents. This network has expertise in nearly all medical specialties through in-hospital and home hospital care and, as a university hospital, provides education and conducts scientific research and development to support health and well-being.

The REDUSE team welcomes the Tampere study site and looks forward to its participation in this important trial.
